Business Writing

This workshop will provide participants with the basics of writing a clear, concise and correct document every time they produce a written piece of work. Key principles reviewed include drafting a document; using a model every time one writes; how to avoid writer’s block; learning to write and then revise; devising the document to grab the reader’s attention; writing with the reader in mind; and appropriate spelling, punctuation and grammar usage.  In addition, a special section will be devoted to e-mail correspondence. Techniques will be reviewed to get the message read, how not to offend the reader, and a model to use every time this medium is used.
